Translator Almaty. Simultaneous translator English Kazakh Russian

Today Almaty hosted the 6th Eurasian Congress on Aesthetic Surgery.BG translation firm provided a simultaneous medical translator interpreter for a company which turned to us in search for a highly specialized translator with medical background for the Eurasian Congress on Aesthetic Surgery.

The translation involved English to Russian and Russian to English simultaneous translation using simultaneous interpretation equipment.

Our company employs highly qualified translators and interpreters that specialize in law, finance and economics, oil and gas, engineering, education and culture, mining, marketing, political science, tourism and sports, television, and medicine.

Therefore, we happily deployed our medical interpreter for this project.

As a rule of thumb, when preparing for such events, we request materials from a client to hand over to an interpreter for thorough preparation.

But this time around the client told us that there was no material whatsoever as the lecturer treated the information strictly confidential.

For this reason, our translator did not have the opportunity to get acquainted with the subject matter of the project and relied strictly on his medical knowledge and experience of simultaneous interpretation, English to Russian and vice versa.

Nevertheless, the simultaneous medical interpreter in Almaty with BG coped with the job and got off with a whole skin.

By the way, the subject of the event was rhinoplasty.

Also, here is a excerpt from the event with our simultaneous translator Yerlan Nanarov in action.

Simultaneous Interpretation Services and Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment for the Conference in Astana. Consecutive Interpreter

This week, a large US pharmaceutical company turned to our translation agency so that our company could provide a consecutive interpreter in Astana.

Initially, the company intended to invite simultaneous interpreters for the event, but due to organizational difficulties it was deemed unpractical at the last minute of preparation for the event. And we decided to limit ourselves to the services of an consecutive interpreter of our company.

This was complicated by the fact that simultaneous interpretation required simultaneous interpretation equipment – headphones with infrared sensors incorporated, interpreter’s booth, interpretr’s desk among other things. Since there was little time remaining, the decision was simple – contact us.

Since the pharmaceutical industry is all about medicine, we invited our medical interpreter to render the service.

Our translation agency provides not only general interpreters, but also those who specialize by field. In addition to basic interpreting degree, they also earned their second degree in the field they specialize, e.g. medicine, engineering, or law.

This is why the client chose to work with our translation agency in Astana and Almaty. Our medical interpreter Yerlan, by the way, astonished the client with his profound knowledge of the subject matter, namely, ophthalmology. Yerlan told the audience during the interpreting process what kind of nystagmus may occur when the anterior, lateral, or posterior semicircular canal of the bony labyrinth of the cochlear apparatus is affected.

This, indeed, takes your breath away! To know how the human organs function, what their structure is like, know what pathology arise when one or the other part of these organs is affected. Ah, what a feeling to be a connoisseur of everything and anything in the universe!?How ridiculous does it sound!  It is for a reason, scientia potentia est.

And now back to our project. The client was extremely pleased with our interpreter and promised to seek our services in 2018 for a good number of events. God bless our clients!

If you plan to hold an event hosting foreign guests, speakers, delegates, and need the interpretation services, please do not hesitate to contact us. We strive to provide the best client experience. In doing so we provide the most experienced and top-notch experts in the field – the interpreting craftsmen. We guarantee quality interpretation.

In addition, we will provide you with high-quality simultaneous interpretation equipment of the german make Bosch: microphones, interpreter’s booth, headphones, and everything you need.

As well as implement turn-key projects for you. Shoot us an email and we will get back with you promptly.

In doing so, we will provide quality service throughout the event. You will be supervised by a dedicated coordinator who will:

  • be in touch with you at all times and coordinate the translators,
  • receive materials from you and
  • send them to translators for careful study and preparation for the event,
  • while respecting the confidentiality of the information,
  • prepare all necessary documents (contracts, bills, etc.) on an ongoing basis.

As a bonus, we will provide you with photographer who will make a breathtaking photo-report at your event for pleasant memories 🙂

In the meantime, enjoy the slideshow 🙂

The translation agency in Astana to render interpretation and transcription services (stenography)

Last week, our translation company Bridging the Gaps had the opportunity to provide simultaneous interpretation services for the Soros-Kazakhstan Charitable Foundation.

One of the strongest translators of Kazakhstan, Tatiana and Olzhas, who brilliantly, with flying colors, rendered simultaneous interpretation services English to Russian and Russian to English

Interpreters of our company rendered the highest quality and professional simultaneous interpretation services. Our client – Soros-Kazakhstan – was extremely pleased with the quality and professionalism of our simultaneous interpreters.

It could not have been otherwise, because Bridging the Gaps the translation agency goes through a through translators selection process and cooperates with highly qualified translators and interpreters.

It stands to mention the client requested our company render not only simultaneous interpretation services, but also transcription services (shorthand services).

The essence of transcription is the translation of spoken language into written text. First, the speech of the speakers is recorded on the recorder, then this speech is transferred to paper. This work requires a high degree of diligence and scrupulousness, along with high professional training as an simultaneous interpreter.

In Kazakhstan, these services are rarely available whereas in advanced nations they are in great demand.

Fortunately, our translation agency has such a specialist too who, in turn, brilliantly coped with his task.

We are once again happy to hold the event and make it a success!

If you need oral translators for foreign language, we will be happy to provide you with highly qualified and experienced translators.

Should you have any queries with regard to interpretation cost, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service representative. We will be happy to help you anytime of the day!

Here are some of the pictures from the event. Enjoy 🙂

Simultaneous interpretation in Almaty. Conference interpreters and spoken translators in Almaty

Medical interpreter by the Bridging the Gaps Translation Center in at a large-scale medical conference in Almaty.

The month of September was marked with another significant event in the life of the medical community in Kazakhstan. The regular V International Congress Central Asian Gastroenterological Week-2017 was held in Almaty.

For four years back-to-back, our conference interpreter named Yerlan gets invited to render spoken translation services at this event. This is because Yerlan has unique set of skills both in conference interpreting and medical sciences.

Three intense days of medical translation. The most exciting moments of the translation, and extremely difficult, when a spoken translator has to overextend himself to understand what is it that is being conveyed to the audience, when the sound from the microphone is full of interfering noises, the acoustics is not there, the speaker’s English is not quiet good.

And sometimes two speakers deliver speech back-to-back, and the client wants one interpreter to do the translation for whatever reason.

So our interpreter sometimes had to interpret for an hour and a half without a pause. And it is no secret simultaneous translators routinely alternate every 20 minutes.

But the BG translation agency’s interpeters are so experienced that the medical interpreter was ready for the challenge and brilliantly coped with the task in specialized medical translation English to Russian and Russian to English.

The BG translation agency has translators with medical background. When there are medical conferences, our interpreters are there to do the job. And this greatly contributes to the success of such events.

If you are planning an event and you need highly qualified medical translators, we will be happy to help you!

Medical translator/interpreter in Almaty at 7th international scientific and practical conference “Kaishibayev’s Lectures”

BG medical interpreter was invited to do simultaneous interpreting/conference interpreting in Almaty at an international conference on the 6th -7th October 2017.

Our translator had to fly from Astana to Almaty in order to render simultaneous translation services English to Russian and vice versa.

Our medical interpreter translated the eminent professor Nuri Ozgirgin at the conference. The professor flew all over from Turkey. He is a Professor at the “Bayandyr” Hospital in Ankara, ENT Department, President of EAONO – the European Association of Otology and Neurotology.

The professor introduced to audience international practices and “New horizons in diagnosis and management of Benign Paroxysmal Vestibular Vertigo” (BPPV).

Yerlan did two types of translation. During the morning session, the professor gave a talk, during which our translator did consecutive interpreting/spoken translation English to Russian.

After lunch, the professor continued to speak, but this time around it was En-Ru simultaneous translation that Yerlan had to handle.

The particularity of this event was that Yerlan had to translate synchronously on his own for 2 hours in a row. It is commonly known that simultaneous interpreting is carried out by at least two conference interpreters when they translate speakers for 15-20 minutes in the alternate mode.

But the customer insisted that it had to be just one translator. Why? you might wonder. This is because two interpreters’ knowledge base in a particular subject matter may differ greatly. The customer was guided precisely by this consideration in his urgency.

And since Yerlan had medical background (medical interpreter), the client went right for him.

And the BG team on its end is happy to help our clients with simultaneous interpretation not only in Astana and Almaty, but also in other cities of our beautiful homeland!

Spoken interpretation during the re-accreditation of the National Cardiac Surgery Research Center in Astana

BG medical interpreters rendered spoken interpretation services during the JCI accreditation (Joint Commission International) of the National Cardiac Surgery Research Center in Astana.

The accreditation was carried out September the 18th through September  the 22nd , 2017 in Astana.

Medical interpreters Mariya, Dina and Yerlan translated consecutively English to Russian and Russian to English during the accreditation.

The client was very pleased with the spoken interpreters. The client pointed out that during the first accreditation back in 2014 they were presented with no-so-good interpreting. It was difficult for staff to understand what the surveyors really meant during their interviews. This time around there was clear understanding of what the surveyors had in mind, explaining some of the requirements of the JCI standards. And this all thanks to the quality and experience of our medical translators we have in Astana.

For example, the medical interpreter Mariya translated at accreditations of healthcare organizations by JCI standards eight times in a row.

Medical interpreter Yerlan translated during the accreditation of healthcare organizations by JCI standards for the eleventh time.

Medical interpreter Dina once worked on developing and implementing healthcare accreditation standards.

Such a makeup of spoken medical translators was the very success formula for the event to go smoothly with translation.
